As a Senior Quantity Surveyor with this main contractor you’ll manage, coordinate, report on, and advise on all commercial aspects of projects across their commercial projects. The company has a very strong forward workload, projects typically range in value from $20m - $100m.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor is across all commercial aspects of the companies’ projects and collaborate with all stakeholders to make sure everyone succeeds.
A salary of $160k - $180k is being offered for this role, depending on experience.
In order to be successful in this role, the perfect candidate will demonstrate initiative and ingenuity who also isn’t afraid roll their sleeves up to get the job done. Being flexible and adaptable is a must for this position and the ideal candidate will always be profit and delivery focussed.
Here are the essentials needed for this role:
· Possess a relevant building related degree
· Experience of using Jobpac is essential
· Have extensive experience managing contracts on high-end and high-profile fitout projects
· Be quality focused and have the ability to assess risk
· Be able to show longevity with past employers and exemplary references
Here’s what else we’re looking for:
· A competent in construction/contract legal obligations for building design and construction
· Have experience across various types of projects, such as Design and Construct contracts, Construct Only contracts and construction management contracts using Standard Form Contracts.
· Excellent people skills and know how to galvanize a team and work towards a common goal and share resources.
· A stellar ability to communicate with influence and able to organize effectively.
· A keen eye for detail and an ability to meet every deadline placed in front of you
