How we support the health and safety of our OnHire Staff

H&S Induction Training

We make sure every one of our workers completes an in-house  health and safety training before heading to site to provide them with all the information to keep themselves safe

Full PPE Provided

We provide our workers with a full set of tried and tested PPE and continually monitor it's quality. We also provide replacement PPE to our staff and continue to educate them as to it's importance.

Onsite safety checks

All of our consultants regularly go to site to check in with both workers and clients to ensure everyone is safe on site. We also aim to prevent any injuries by holding on site Toolbox meetings to share safe working techniques.

Health Monitoring Services

We bring in external Health Monitoring services to provide annual checks for all of our workers who have been with us over 6 months to make sure there are no long term health issues.

We take our role very seriously in protecting the health and safety of our workers - to find out more about our H&S Management Systems and what we do on site please get in touch with Kit (our Health and Safety Representative) and she will be able to explain this in more depth. Otherwise have a look at some of our H&S information sheets that we regularly inform our workers on as part of our commitment to their continual safety.

How do we achieve our H&S requirements?

We start at the beginning

Our commitment to Health and Safety is second to none.  We understand that the New Zealand Health and Safety scene is sharpening and that we and you have clear responsibilities as the person conducting a business or undertaking.

It is our duty to help you manage risk on your site. In particular, our primary duty of care is to ensure that our pre-qualified staff are not put at risk from the work they carry out on your site and do not create any unnecessary risks.

Commitment to Safety

RobLawMax emphasizes safety within its On Hire division, recognizing this area as a critical risk factor for the business. In addition to fostering a robust in-house safety culture, the primary focus is directed toward ensuring the safety of our on-hire workers across the construction, civil, and manufacturing sectors.

RobLawMax is dedicated to safety and collaborates closely with clients to address site-specific requirements. The organization takes pride in proactive lead-indicator activities conducted in the field. This process begins as soon as a worker registers in our offices and continues through their placement on-site, with ongoing monitoring to ensure compliance and safety. In the event of an injury, RobLawMax is prepared to respond promptly, assisting both the worker and the client to achieve the best possible outcome, particularly in serious situations. We have established comprehensive injury management systems that incorporate a pastoral approach for serious incidents, alongside structured return-to-work plans to facilitate recovery and reintegration.

ISO45001 - Health and Safety Management Systems

RobLawMax Recruitment is dedicated to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all employees, contractors, visitors, and stakeholders. We recognize the critical importance of occupational health and safety (OH&S) and are committed to the ongoing enhancement of our safety management system to achieve compliance with ISO 45001 standards.

Our safety management system is strategically designed to identify and assess risks, implement controls to mitigate hazards, and conduct regular reviews and monitoring of our safety performance. This system undergoes routine audits and assessments to ensure its effectiveness and relevance.

We regard safety as a fundamental aspect of our organizational culture and values. A safe workplace is vital for the well-being of our employees, the overall success of our business, and the satisfaction of our clients.

Cooperation, Collaboration & Coordination

Due to the nature of our operations, it is not feasible for us to provide on-site supervision and direct oversight of our on-hire workers on a daily basis.

RobLawMax has developed a comprehensive safety management system to ensure that qualified personnel are matched with our clients and that their ongoing support is effectively managed. Our commitment to collaborating with our clients to achieve these objectives remains a primary focus, and we are dedicated to providing assistance in any way necessary.

Success Garanteed

We have outlined our dedication to delivering ongoing health and safety support and guidance to all employees.

RobLawMax also assists our clients by ensuring that our workforce acknowledges their responsibility in reporting hazards and incidents that occur on-site.

Additionally, all of our consultants undergo continuous training in incident reporting and conduct internal investigations to enhance safety for everyone on-site.
