About the job:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing piling operations with a particular emphasis on retaining walls and slope stabilization projects.
As a Piling Foreman, you will oversee and coordinate all on-site piling activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Piling Foreman or in a similar leadership role.
· Extensive experience with retaining walls and slope stabilization projects.
· Strong understanding of piling techniques and geotechnical aspects.
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
· Excellent leadership and communication skills.
· In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction sites.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Relevant certifications in piling, construction, and safety (e.g., SSSTS, CSCS, First Aid).
· Right to work in New Zealand

Duties:
Lead and supervise a team of piling operatives on site.
Oversee the installation of piles for retaining walls and slope stabilization projects.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Monitor and manage project progress, including coordinating materials and resources.
Provide technical support to the project team and troubleshoot any on-site issues.
Conduct site inspections and report on progress, quality, and safety concerns.
Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
Maintain equipment, tools, and site facilities to ensure smooth operations.
