An established and respected Waikato-based consultancy is seeking a CPEng-qualified (or near-qualified) Civil Engineer to lead a team of five engineers and drive the success of major projects across the region. Your Role:
- Lead civil design for medium to large land development projects.
- Oversee projects from concept to completion, collaborating with surveyors, planners, and geotechnical specialists.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
- Engage in business development and foster strong client relationships.
- Conduct construction monitoring and ensure compliance with regulations.
Your Essential Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (CPEng or working towards it).
- 5 + years NZ based consultancy experience on LD projects with expertise in three waters, earthworks, and roading design.
- Strong proficiency with a range of software tols such as Civil 3D and/or 12D
- Experience leading projects and teams in the NZ land development sector.
- Full legal working rights in New Zealand.
