The role of a Construction Manager will oversee and lead construction projects across New Zealand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing teams, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage construction projects from planning to completion.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Lead and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Develop and implement project schedules, work plans, and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with New Zealand building codes, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Monitor project progress, address any issues or delays, and adjust plans as needed.
• Manage procurement of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Conduct regular site inspections and enforce quality control measures.
• Report project status, risks, and key milestones to senior management and clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Knowledge of New Zealand building regulations, health & safety laws, and industry best practices.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Full NZ driver’s license and legal right to work in New Zealand.
