As a Construction Contract Manager, you will be responsible for negotiating terms, managing budgets, and ensuring all contractual obligations are met while maintaining high-quality standards and safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and execution of construction contracts
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful completion
  • Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to maintain strong relationships
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with construction projects
  • Ensure all contractual obligations are met and resolve any disputes or issues
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality control
  • Prepare and present reports on project performance, costs, and risks


Required Skills & Qualifications:

✔ Experience: Minimum 5 years in contract management within the construction industry
✔ Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field
✔ Strong knowledge of New Zealand construction laws, regulations, and contract standards
✔ Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
✔ Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
✔ Strong leadership and communication skills to liaise with stakeholders
✔ Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office Suite
✔ Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations
