Employers expect candidates who are applying for Civil Quantity Surveyor jobs to have either a National Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a Bachelor of Construction, and have a detailed understanding of New Zealand’s local by-laws, building regulations and legislation. Any experience with the Commercial, Residential or Civil Construction industries, or work involving calculations or accounting, will also be hugely beneficial.
