Haul Truck Operators drive large dump trucks to transport ore, waste rock, and materials across mine sites. They follow strict operational procedures, ensuring efficiency and safety while manoeuvring heavy loads in challenging terrain. They must also conduct pre-start checks, report mechanical issues, and comply with site traffic regulations.

Required Skills:

A valid HR (Heavy Rigid) or MC (Multi-Combination) driver’s license is required, along with mining or heavy vehicle operation experience. Operators must demonstrate excellent situational awareness, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to operate in high-pressure environments. Previous experience with CAT 793/797 or Komatsu 830E trucks is an advantage.
