Driving various types of delivery vehicles, whether light or heavy, is a key aspect of the role. Additionally, you will be responsible for meticulously planning delivery schedules and routes in collaboration with the Manager to ensure efficiency and timeliness. Supervising and assisting with the unloading and loading of goods will also be part of your duties, as well as lifting and carrying items of various sizes and weights. It is crucial to ensure that all loads are safely secured to prevent any damages during transit. Keeping an accurate record of deliveries made and maintaining an up-to-date logbook is essential for organizational purposes. Furthermore, you will need to ensure that the delivery vehicles, including their tyres and brakes, are operating properly to guarantee safety on the road. Regular maintenance of the delivery vehicle will be required, along with promptly reporting any mechanical issues to the Mechanics for timely resolution.

We are looking for suitable candidates who possess a valid New Zealand driver's license, including either Class 2, 4, or 5. Candidates must also provide clean drug test results as well as a clean drivers’ license check. Experience driving on New Zealand roads is essential, as it ensures familiarity with local traffic rules and conditions.
