Carpenter roles

Typical Responsibilities

Commercial Carpenters

Typically remodel or build commercial buildings - i.e: Car parks, office blocks, apartment complexes, malls, bridges and roading structures.

Assist in the Concrete foundations, set out of Columns, Installation of in-suite beams, placement stilton ribs and boards, tying steel.  

Frame interior walls, install stairs, and install drywall (Gib), insulate walls, install joinery, Install windows and doors and hardware on the windows and doors.

Residential Carpenters

• Specialise in new-home building and renovations.
• Set out profiles for footings, walls, slabs, and frame and finish exterior walls, roofs, and decks.
• Frame interior walls, install stairs, and install drywall (Gib), insulate walls, install joinery, Install windows and doors and hardware on the windows and doors.
• Co-ordinate with the other trades onsite to make sure the job is running to program. 

Civil Carpenters

Similar to a Construction Carpenter, this role is primarily focused on civil sites and spaces, where precision and skill are vital. A civil carpenter works with wood and concrete to construct, repair, and maintain structures. They may also fabricate materials, pour concrete, and direct other construction workers. 

We are looking for

• 3- 5 years experiences in the industry
• Full set of hand and power tools
• Team-working skills and interpersonal/communication skills
• Physically fit
• Licensed LBP or Level 4 carpentry (if necessary)
• Ability to read and work to plans
