Senior Architect


Job Description:

As a Senior Architect, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and delivering architectural projects across various sectors. You will work closely with clients, consultants, and teams to ensure projects meet design, sustainability, and regulatory standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of architectural projects from concept to completion.
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and graduates.
  • Ensure compliance with New Zealand building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
  • Utilize software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp for design and documentation.
  • Conduct site visits and oversee construction progress.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
  • 5+ years of experience in architectural design and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of NZ building codes, resource consents, and planning regulations.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • NZ Registered Architect (or working towards registration preferred).


Graduate Architect


Job Description:

As a Graduate Architect, you will support the design and delivery of projects, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the industry. You will work under the guidance of senior architects, contributing to concept designs, documentation, and project coordination.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing architectural designs and preparing documentation.
  • Conduct research on materials, building codes, and project feasibility.
  • Collaborate with senior architects and project teams to bring designs to life.
  • Prepare presentations and visualisations for client meetings.
  • Participate in site visits and assist in construction administration.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
  • 0-3 years of experience in an architectural practice (internship experience is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong design and visualisation skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop within the industry.
  • Understanding of New Zealand building codes and standards (preferred).
