Typical Responsibilities
Commercial Carpenters
- Typically remodel or build commercial buildings - i.e: Car parks, office blocks, apartment complexes, malls, bridges and roading structures.
- Assist in the Concrete foundations, set out of Columns, Installation of in-suite beams, placement stilton ribs and boards, tying steel.
- Frame interior walls, install stairs, and install drywall (Gib), insulate walls, install joinery, Install windows and doors and hardware on the windows and doors.
Residential Carpenters
- Specialise in new-home building and renovations.
- Set out profiles for footings, walls, slabs, and frame and finish exterior walls, roofs, and decks.
- Frame interior walls, install stairs, and install drywall (Gib), insulate walls, install joinery, Install windows and doors and hardware on the windows and doors.
- Co-ordinate with the other trades onsite to make sure the job is running to program.
Civil Carpenters
- Same as the Construction Carpenter but on Civil sites and spaces
- Often working with Concrete
We are looking for
- 3- 5 years experiences in the industry
- Full set of hand and power tools
- Team-working skills and interpersonal/communication skills
- Physically fit
- Licensed LBP or Level 4 carpentry (if necessary)
- Ability to read and work to plans

Salary Range
$36 - 44 per hour depending on experience
