Regional Sales Manager

Are you a motivated sales professional looking for a secure friendly business who are a specialist in their field and are busy with a secure pipeline and loyal customers? We’re seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead sales growth across multiple regions, build strong relationships with clients, and contribute to the ongoing development of our company’s product lines.

Knowledge within the concrete industry, coated or specialised flooring would be a great advantage. Carpet and Vinyl experience will come as second best!

About the Role:

As Regional Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies across regions south of Taupō including the South Island. Work alongside the Northern Regional Sales Manager who brings years of product and industry knowledge, the Directors, who are supportive, approachable, loyal and keen to upskill their employees, the Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers. You’ll build lasting relationships with new and existing clients, work with wholesalers to secure new business, and deliver exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction. This will be salaried $80-$100k per annum with a performance bonus on top.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies
  • Identify, pursue, and convert prospective customers
  • Track sales performance and meet revenue targets
  • Build and maintain positive business relationships
  • Travel to client locations
  • Deliver tailored product presentations and manage customer queries
  • Attend industry events to cultivate relationships
  • Monitor competition and identify sales opportunities
  • Manage marketing initiatives to increase product awareness
  • Prepare sales reports and analyze performance metrics
  • Maintain accurate client records and CRM updates

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of proven sales experience within the construction industry here in NZ!!
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and relationship-focused
  • Familiarity with sales processes and ability to build quick rapport
  • Current driver’s license with a clean record
  • Ability and keenness to travel NZ regularly!
