The company
This organisation is a values-driven and place-based organisation that works alongside Mana Whenua, the community, and partners to deliver New Zealand’s largest regeneration programme. Over the life of the regeneration programme, they will redevelop approximately 2,550 social homes into a total of 10,500 new warm and dry social, affordable, and market homes.

The position
This highly critical lead role sits within Asset Management team, which enables effective and efficient asset management planning capability. As Asset Information Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring quality asset information is made available to support evidence-based decision making across the asset management lifecycle.

The Asset Information Lead will provide leadership across the business for asset information and geospatial projects, data and analytics management and continuously improving the organisation’s geospatial and asset information capabilities in line with the strategic vision.
The role will interface with the wider business and external stakeholders and will include ongoing support and training to staff to access data, information and reporting require to support their team functions.

Key responsibilities:
· Provide technical leadership and innovations within the Geospatial and space, also supporting internal teams and external stakeholders.
· Lead the provision of Information, Data Management and Reporting & Analytics
· Lead through the use of data and information to highlight current and future risk including compliance, environmental and life safety and ensure mitigations are managed
· Lead the Geospatial project workload and provide support and mentoring to the assets team
· Lead the development and implementation of GIS and SPM data standards and process and automate key routine tasks
· Leverage existing business systems and lead the development of new systems across the business to link and automate data for more efficient staff use of time.
· Collaborate on business planning, lead geospatial continuous improvement projects and contribute to other workgroups where there is an asset data and spatial component.
· Provide technical support on SAMP, AMP that ensures alignment to ISO 55000/IIMM

Essential skills and experience required:
· A relevant degree in Information Systems, GIS or computer science supported by at least 10-years’ experience in GIS or GIS integrated Asset Information System.
· Minimum 8 years’ experience in a system product development environment.
· Have developed web apps using ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise would be an advantage.
· Database skills, particularly with enterprise database with good understanding of relational database.
· Demonstrated experience working with large and complex information and unstructured information sources
· Relevant certification, skills and experience with PowerBI
· Advanced computer literacy and efficacy in MS suite of products, particularly, Excel and MS Project
· Ability to lead workstreams across multiple asset information products
· Understanding of system integration and the different components/layers of our products.
· Proven GIS project/product delivery experience in an agile oriented environment
· Experience in leading and managing projects involving multiple technical components
· Proven understanding of key information technology processes (change management, problem management, release management)
· Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, in plain language
· Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster good stakeholder relationships through consultation and partnership
· Proven ability to lead technical projects and drive asset data and information management projects to time and budget
