As a Drainlayer with us, you’ll play a key role in a range of civil works—from council projects and subdivisions to more unique assignments. Your expertise in drainage, water reticulation, and general civil knowledge will be vital across multiple sites.
Our client, based in Masterton, is seeking a long-term team member. If you demonstrate your expertise and commitment, there’s a chance to secure a permanent position and continue growing with the company. You’ll be hands-on but also leading and mentoring the team on-site.
What We Offer:
- Competitive hourly rate: $35 - $50 per hour (depending on experience)
- Full-time, Monday to Friday hours
- Temp to perm opportunities with leading NZ contractors

- Full PPE provided
What You Need:
- Valid Drainlayer qualification/certificate in New Zealand
- Full Class 1 driver’s licence (essential)
- W, T, R endorsements are a bonus
- Strong ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings
- Proficiency with drainage tools and machinery
- Reliability and punctuality
