Are you an experienced drilling professional looking to take on a leadership role? As an Anchor Drilling Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising and managing drilling operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and operational excellence at all times.
Requirements:
· Right to work in New Zealand
· Must hold a New Zealand valid Driver’s License
· Proven experience in drilling operations, with a solid understanding of anchoring, drilling rigs, and related equipment.
· Coordinating and prioritizing the activities of drilling the well at the rig site.
· Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in the oil and gas drilling industry.
· Certifications related to the job is an advantage
Duties:
· Lead and supervise the daily operations of the drilling crew, ensuring that all tasks, including anchoring and drilling, are completed to the highest standard.
· Maintain strict safety protocols and manage any potential risks on site, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
· Coordinate the setup, operation, and maintenance of all drilling equipment.
· Provide hands-on leadership, training, and mentoring to junior drilling staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
· Ensure all drilling activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
· Effectively communicate with engineers, management, and other teams to provide updates, address challenges, and suggest improvements.
· Maintain detailed daily reports on all operations, equipment status, and personnel activities.
