Born in South Africa, Monize and her family moved to New Zealand when she was a young child where she grew up and studied in the sunny Hawkes Bay. After getting her Bachelor of Business Studies majoring in Accounting, she moved to Wellington in 2021 to see what the city had to offer.

Having worked as an Assistant Accountant for a year, Monize decided that she wanted a more people-facing role where she could provide integral support to a team and become the go-to person for all those little things that make everyone else’s days run smoothly.

In her spare time, Monize likes to read, play board games, and make polymer clay jewellery.
