Kerry Rowlands

Originally from Masterton, Kerry graduated from Otago University in 2000 with a degree in Physical Education. With over 10 years working in Construction and recruiting across Engineering, Infrastructure, Planning and Design sectors, Kerry has a breadth of practical and professional experience to draw on. This has included site management on multi-million dollar developments in New Zealand, recruiting in London for 4 years with leading international recruitment firms Macdonald & Company, and AndersElite. Since 2011 he has been based in the Auckland office of NZ's leading Engineering and Construction recruitment specialists RobLawMax Recruitment.

Of Ngāti Porou, Ngāti Kahungunu, English, Scottish and Welsh descent, Kerry is kept busy by his wife, children and chickens who in turn keep him... well hen-pecked. An avid sports fan, Kerry follows most sports including the varying fortunes of Wairarapa Bush, the Hurricanes, NZ Warriors and Wellington Phoenix and supports any team with a silver fern on it. Having re-mortgaged to follow the All Blacks World Cup campaign of 2011, Kerry has no pending plans for retirement.

Outside of work, Kerry enjoys being a Big Buddy mentor to fatherless boys, DIY (led by his wife), craft beer, sleeping and spending time with friends and family.
